Krauthammer: The "War on Women" Narrative Has Been Discredited

Tip your caps to Cory Gardner. No doubt one of the most polished candidates to run for office this election cycle, he deserves additional plaudits (as does Texas Governor-elect Greg Abbott) for running a successful campaign against a desperate and birth control-obsessed Democrat. His opponent did his best to make the race all about “women’s issues,” a ridiculous if sometimes successful strategy that the Denver Post recently described as “obnoxious” and “an insult to those he seeks to convince.” Unlike previous Senate hopefuls, however, Gardner was able to successfully ward off charges that he was anti-women and anti-birth control. “I think this is the end of the ‘War on Women,'" he proclaimed. “And the Democrats have lost it.”
