Summary of The Bipartisan Campus Accountability and Safety Act (CASA) by NCFM Carolinas
In yet another attempt to placate college feminist activists, eight senators announced new legislation purportedly aimed at curbing sexual assault on college campuses that will include an annual survey of students about their experience with sex assault.
The group of Senators supporting the bill include Claire McCaskill (D-Mo), Dean Heller (R-NV), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Chuck Grassley (R-Ia.), Mark Warner (D-Va.), Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).
No mention was made by any of the eight senators of the growing number of college men that have been falsely accused of sexual assault, stripped of their due process rights and summarily removed from campus by kangaroo sex courts. It seems that expelling innocent men is a small price to pay in order to satisfy angry feminists who have successfully lobbied to advance their war on men on our nation's college campuses.
The Campus Safety and Accountability Act would:
require a uniform process for disciplinary proceedings
require colleges to coordinate investigations with law enforcement
penalize schools that fail to comply - schools could face penalties affecting 1% of their total operating budgets and a $150,000 fine per Clery Act violation
